A disorder of what causes acne?

The scars can be treated with microdermabrasion. And other treatments. I had horrible scars but I'm lucky to get the treatments.

I'm going to try that Sarah thank you! As a teen and in my early twenties I didn't have a face care routine I barely got acne and had very smooth skin all over. Since I had my daughter I've started getting it with my cycles on my face back and chest. Sparingly but idk what to do with this mess! LOL oh well it is what it is I'm still very pretty

I've known a lot of people with bad acne, including my brother, who was badly scarred. I'm lucky, my teenage acne was mild, but it caused me anxiety at the time. Fortunately for me, I have no scars from it.

Pennyenn, I had acne in my teens n it was pretty bad… I felt ugly, went Dermatologist n gave me cream to use, which dried out my skin. I was sooo self conscious n cried to my mom. Then when I had my first pregnancy, low n behold, my skin cleared up n never had a problem after. It’s horrible to go through .

Yeah that's kinda why I have low self esteem!! I don't really think I'm pretty but the guys are always all over me!! I don't get it!!!

I've found something with salicylic acid to cleanse and a benzoyl peroxide cream for bad outbreaks has worked for me for over 30 years- yes, am still prone to acne in my 60s!

I saw this teenage girl today that had terrible acne. It’s so sad because she will mist likely have permanent scars from it.
