What is the second planet from the Sun?

Just remembered the mnemonic: my very eager mother just served us nine pizzas, but after pluto got downgraded to a dwarf planet...my very eager mother just served us nothing!

The mnemonic I was taught in Grade 2 was Many Very Early Men Jumped Suddenly Upon Nails (Period) to remember the order of the planets. Since Pluto was downgraded to a minor planet, I suppose you don't need to remember Period.
