What is schizophrenia?

TJ SISTA, I have a friend whose son has this disorder. I have observed his behaviors at different times. It is beyond sad bc they believe what they hear and see even if you tell them that isn't happening or that no you don't hear what they hear. The look on their face will make your heart melt bc you cannot offer them help only advice to mental health support and they feel so helpless. There is to date no cure only certain medications for the symptoms. And there are times his mother tells me the meds don't work. so sad

It's not good to have an incurable. Pretty bad for the people who have it.
