Juliette, Depending upon your taste buds. You mentioned Tomato with APPLE (Another Fruit) looking at the true definition of a FRUIT v Vegetable, Tomato is NOT the only Fruit - to be marketed / sold as a VEGETABLE ! Others include Okra, Cucumber, Courgette, Aubergine, Capsicum ! Legumes = Beans, Peas etc Cucumber

So tomatoes are fruit. Yet they are never paired with other fruits, say, in a salad: tomato and apple salad with blueberries? Tomatoes and grapefruit with lemon sauce? Tomatoes, kiwi and cherries? Rather revolting, eh?
