If you make money from stand up, what is your job?

They usually stand up because they can move around more easily than by sittin.

I miss many of the old school comedians, like George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Sam Kinison, and Robin Williams to name a few!

SkyEagle, just tradition mostly, but "animation", is part of the allure, and adds effectiveness to the humor, my guess is that you really haven't experienced many stand-up comedians.
