The medical condition 'allergic rhinitis' has what common name?

Have had it since childhood. No cure. Only pills, powders and diets that are purported to alleviate the symptoms.

Leapfoot, Folks have no idea how miserable this condition can be year round and runny noses,sneezing and waiting for medication to kick in and how long while bringing on sleepiness. It’s a Curse. !!!

About 18 months ago, I suddenly developed my first allergy. Since it's indoors and year-round, it's almost certainly dust mites. Most of my house has hardwood floors, so it's time to buy new mattresses. Not new pillows, though. I invested in some king-size "My Pillow" brand pillows. They are the best pillows I've ever had. In and out of washer and dryer, and they're clean and mite-free.

Travelling with a colleague and he just bought some Zyrtec tablets for his hay fever.
