Which part of the world did the Vikings come from?

Aayan, The original message seems to have got lost. Vikings +- after a lot of looting and pillaging, did start to settle in the North East and Yorkshire. I dont know that the pudding was the attraction though!!! ( Rather dull and stodgy)
