if not done properly, it can cause permanent nerve damage.

Not a pleasant experience getting one! I had a total block as they thought I may need a caesarean but after turning him they managed to get him out but I couldn't get up and go over to my baby where they were working on him, I couldn't walk to the toilet or shower, it was awful.

I should know for I had six epidural coz I delivered all my six babys through cesarean section
