They are not “murderous”. They bite to defend themselves against what they perceive to be a threat. Labelling an animal as a bloodthirsty monster is only going to worsen people’s opinions on an already hated creature.

murderous? Hardly. That terminology promotes fear of spiders. They are interesting and useful creatures and rarely attack if they are left alone.

NEVER kill a wolf spider !! They eat black widows and brown recluses but are harmless to humans, they are also very intelligent and can dance.
