I do believe they originated in Asia because my xhusband used to. be a logger . every time they come from forest whether in Cordillera or Isabela mountains thery bring back many types of orchids I used to have a lot that I only hang on mango trees. The more you enter in the farther village in the province you'll be amazed how they care and protect their orchids its like orchidarium . you will never see a house without orchids in their front yard welcoming you with their beautiful flowers.
