Tracey , yes, but high salt intake is a problem for some and not everyone. I eat salt without worrying about it. My blood sodium levels are always in the middle of the acceptable range. As I get older, 50 yo now, it might be a concern. Also, there is new research suggesting sodium/potassium (Na/K) ratio is more important than just salt level.
