Who was a Jewish girl who kept a diary in which she documented life in hiding under Nazi persecution?

I read this book in 4th grade and Anne Frank made quite an impact on my childhood. Life suddenly became very fragile, better enjoy it while you have it! She also prompted my lifelong love of history. Thank you Anne, my beloved hero!

Thanks to her dairy she will be always remembered. Rest in peace Anne and all other millions people who were killed by bloody and vile Nazi dictatorship.
