lol, when I was a computer programmer eons ago. we used to use an asterisk instead of the English x and zeroes always had a diagonal line through them. if you were coding formulae the difference between X and the times symbol or zero and the letter O was important! Coding ideas were written in long hand before submitting to a computer. oh laughing, that thing about putting a line in a 7, makes it look like a 4. laughing
