What a nice memory of my childhood. We had Art class every Friday. We also had music weekly as well. I wish the children of today were encouraged to join in these activities and Enjoy it! ahhh, the 50’s & early 60’s elementary school classes were enhanced by exposing us to the arts. For many, this is where they discovered their lifelong passion.

STB, they do make purple. Cyan is not a secondary colour. Cyan is blue. It is used in printing, for magazines, brochures, and any other print material that is not just black print. Printers use 3 colours, plus black: yellow, magenta, and cyan. These 3 colours (plus black) make all the colours in posters, mags., etc. If you've ever been somewhere (with large windows and a lot of sunlight) and the artwork on the walls looks mostly blue, that is cyan, and the last colour to fade out of posters when exposed to sunlight for a long time.

Red and blue do not make purple; they make the secondary colour cyan.
