"Animal Farm" is not an anti-Communist story. It's an allegory of the rise of Totalitarianism in the Soviet Union while Stalin was in power. The pig named Napolean represents Stalin (dictator) while the pig named Snowball represents Trotsky (Bolshevic revolutionary).
