In the latter half of the 20th century, there has been a lot more discussion about how many artefacts were procured. Much of the attention focused on acquisitions during colonial times and artworks collected post WWII.

I have been to London once. Saw the British Museum back when the Library was part of it. Amazing cultural and scientific institution ! My dream of a lifetime was fulfilled when I saw the Sutton Hoo burial mask.

Taliesin12, it was the first thing we visited and we spent the day there. We went to the Natural History Museum the next day and the Victoria and Albert a few days later. We loved them, they were highlights of our trip! :)
