this man saw the Black Panther Breakfast Programme, which fed African American children in poverty ridden areas as a threat to US security. for years the US has preferred to send troops to war to save financial interests of the rich, rather than feed and give free healthcare to the poor and veterans who need it.

Perhaps, instead of quoting directly from Wikipedia, explain in simple terms what the Watergate Scandal was.

Richard Nixon in an interview years later said that, although he admitted guilt, he was just doing what everyone had been doing before him. Except in his case, they used it against him to throw him out of office. It was either getting watergated or JFKd, and wasn't gonna risk the latter. I am paraphrasing here but that's the general idea.
