Step 1. peel the chibwabwa
Step 2.wash it
Step 3.cut it up in medium strips
Step 4.boil it in a little oil and water (about 5min)
Step 5. Add some onion (boil until really soft)

In South Africa we get Queensland Blue and White pumpkins with orange/yellow flesh, we also can get occasionally small and the large orange used for jack-o-lantern. About 28yrs ago I had a Halloween party and it was unheard of in SA and orange pumpkin, I sat and carved 2 small white round pumpkins for our gate pillar posts. Took me a month of Sundays 🤣
