What is Esperanto?
Correct answer: An international auxiliary language

Shohrux
It can't be as popular as the English language, I think.

Mitch
Not only that, but REGARDLESS of the intent of its creator, a language-ANY language-whose formation is based in or around any principality or area of the globe; AT ALL... Is NOT a universally understood language, even if it is globally recognized. In this case, Esperanto, as it were, would be a "...widely-accepted unicode language with Indo-European roots. Someone'll say it eventually...

If the EU had its own way they would abolish the various European languages and have us all in Europe speaking Esperanto. Thank God we in the UK voted to leave the despotic, undemocratic political organisation.

I have known this for years, since living on Zamenhof street in Tel Aviv 🤩

I was born in the '50s thought it worthy of interest for International Communication..BUT sadly failed to Take Off and dismissed by many / Perhaps 'They ' did not want us to become too Vocalised and Converse betwixt Countries and Cultures ? AND then ...Internet.. etcetera..
