What is Esperanto?

It can't be as popular as the English language, I think.

If the EU had its own way they would abolish the various European languages and have us all in Europe speaking Esperanto. Thank God we in the UK voted to leave the despotic, undemocratic political organisation.

It would have been more accurate to say Jewish-Polish, than Warsaw-based.

I was born in the '50s thought it worthy of interest for International Communication..BUT sadly failed to Take Off and dismissed by many / Perhaps 'They ' did not want us to become too Vocalised and Converse betwixt Countries and Cultures ? AND then ...Internet.. etcetera..
