I tear up every time I hear it. I believe it is the best speech ever made.

He was such great speaker who passed so young.. I hope they have a TV series about him so the younger people could see the man he was.. so many children read fewer books..

In EVERY Country there has been slavery in one form or another and EVERY race has experienced slavery in one form or another. Conquest, War & Expansion all have a hand in it. NO ONE is immune unfortunately, and believe it or not it still exists even today; and more than likely will exist in the future. Sad that the one race we are all a part of, the human race, has the desire to destroy everyone and everything. However, Most of us Aliens are simply waiting for the Mothership to go back home!

CyanJaguar62, Thanks for the opening; and I do believe in polite conversation. Of course I believe in being kind to others, but that does not mean I have to accept everything that they do. If I’m around LG plus people and I’m aware that I am around them, I go out of my way to make sure that I’m polite. However, there’s just no way I can possibly accept what they do. For example if I knew that someone ate mice recreationally, I would be to them Certainly not unkind, but there is no similarly no way I would want to hang around them.

Dr. King's words echo through my memory. I feel very privileged to have heard JFK, RFK, and MLK speak their most famous words. The words of Dr. King are deeply moving, particularly the I Have a Dream speech, and the I've Been to the Mountaintop speech.
