the Mythbusters put this "Myth" to the test. It turns out that there's some truth in it. Though it appeared that the elephant was more concerned with the welfare of the mouse. It went out of its way not to step on the tiny creature.

I saw a group of elephants get terribly upset by a fledgling bird who couldn't fly off the ground.

I bet the mouse crawled on elephant while it was laying down, and theres nothing the elephant could do, to get it off its back, and the mouse on its back, is a long way down to jump off,,😂This or the trunk the mouse crawling in while the elephants foraging and the mouse ran up the trunk, Idk but Im scared of the critters myself so Im with the elephant! If elephant had a bad experience, one thing for sure, the elephant remembers this! Ive always heard that a elephant has a great memory!

Which is why the cartoon pairing of Dumbo with his best friend, Timothy Mouse, is so interesting. Disney cartoons always tried to uplift and teach.

I wondered if it would be about their trunk also! Because mice are dinky but if they crawl up the trunk they bite and maybe that’s why they say elephants don’t like mice! Just like the information said!

Wow that's interesting. I always thought that elephants were afraid of mice because they could get in their ears. That's what I grew up believing anyway.

I heard that elephants have poor eyesight, and with their much greater size,(and bulk), they are unable to see the much tinier mice, thereby becoming easily startled when a mouse moves, or runs, across their feet, or sudden noises a and scurrying movements that trigger an elephants mind into thinking of "snakes", which certain breeds of snakes in their native lands can kill even the mighty elephants!

Not true of course. A mouse isn’t going to hang around if it sees an elephant coming.
