WeeverBeezle, the conflict was between north and south Vietnam. the US sent troops to help south Vietnam. it wS considered a military action not a war and bc of that there were limitations. China was and still is the problem.

Vietnam wasn't a war, it was a conflict. America didn't lose. Losing implies defeat by whoever you are fighting. That didn't happen. The NVA didn't defeat the American Army. Washington D.C. did.
