I haven't been dentist for over 38 yrs

I went to an orthodontist as a young teen. Not only were my teeth crooked, but I had both my upper canine teeth growing on the roof of my mouth. The Dr did oral surgery to expose the teeth, gradually pull them down to my jaw and have the roots take hold before I could have braces to straighten my entire upper teeth. Total of 6 years to complete the procedure.

I appreciate dentistry, especially in an emergency.

I hate going to the dentist for simple cleaning

Pedodontist was a new word for me. It's a dentist who specializes in treating children.
