For what reason were walnuts once thought to be a cure for headaches?

my children love my walnut, banana bread. and they are very intelligent.

Where in the world do they come up with this stuff?!

I wish I liked them.

I once used walnuts whenever a recipe called for nuts, but I found them to be bitter at times. When I came South, I found pecans and never used another walnut.

they sure look like a brain, even the both hemispheres.... that's what they say about beans, they're good for the liver, for they look like a liver. Xtine, me as well. If banana bread has walnuts in it, I pick them out and eat the bread.
