The Treaty of Versaille caused so much hatred and bitter rancor on behalf of the Central Powers, that only twenty years later, we had World War ll. The Treaty of Versaille was really just a revenge Treaty on the part of France.

It wasn't called World War 1 at that time...they didn't know they were going to have WW 2! so it was called 'The Great War'

and resulted in taking 2/3 of Hungary's territory away 😡
