wayneaboy, at least it was a punishment. Today someone breaking the law doesn’t even get arrested. Shop owners have to stand back and watch a bunch of hoodlums ransack his store and if he hurts one of them he can go to jail.

J, LOL I thought the story was going to read that he decided to stay in jail to sleep off his drunkenness. Like that in the old TV show "The Andy Griffith Show". There was a character that used to use the jail cel for a place to sleep after getting drunk the night before.
