How many wisdom teeth does the average adult have?

I’ve got three with no problems! None have ever grown in

I never got any wisdom teeth. I guess it’s because I’m so wise!

Wisdom teeth only became an issue when we started cooking and preparing foods to make them easier to consume... then the anatomical structure to chew rough foods diminished, and our wisdom teeth - who didn't get the memo of this new adaptation to the human diet - became a hindrance.

had all 4 of mine surgically removed. the recovery was painful.

Also had only three but they were pulled long before they grew in!
