What do Ethiopians use instead of a plate?

I'm all about less dishes to wash!

They use it instead of cutlery not plate. In spite of Ethiopia having suffered from much poverty they have the best African cuisine, where there's a good and healthy balance between vegetables, dairy and meat dishes. Also they go through periods of fasting where they don't consume any product of animal origin for certain periods of time (according to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church)

Mmmm... I'm all sorts of hungry now! Ethiopian food is sooooo 😋 delicious!!
