In which decade were "The Chronicles of Narnia" novels published?

Delightful books not just for children. Good vs Evil. Good always the Victor as it shall always be.

Love the chronicles of Narnia!! especially the lion the witch and the wardrobe good stories!!

wonderful books! My favourite was always the Horse and his Boy.

My friend was incensed when she found out that the books she enjoyed as a youngster were thinly veiled promotions for C. S. Lewis’s faith which was Christianity. I’m not religious, but I enjoyed The Chronicles for its face value as children’s adventure stories.
