What is the name for a baby rabbit?

I used to raise “bunnies” AKA kits & I hadn’t ever heard that they were called kits or kittens.

In PH rabbits are called Coneho in tagalog in english its rabbit

A baby rabbit often appears in my backyard. My friend joked that soon there will be hundreds. Breed like rabbits!

Bonnie , I still call adult rabbits Coneys. The babies are rabbits. Hares have kitten.

I was not aware of that!

Coney Island in NYC once had a lot of wild rabbits.

Bonnie , it is just kits not kitten. kittens are not kits either. no clue where the exact origin or where the terminology derives from.
