I watched it when I was a kid, the movie

I read The Stand the week after I graduated from the USF College of Nursing waiting to start my first job. I read it while lying by the pool at my apartment complex. It was so absorbing that I had to look up periodically to make sure the world was still as I thought it was. Incredible book, poor movie adaptation years later.

Have and continue to be a devoted Stephen King fan. My first book was Pet Sematary in 6th grade. I don't think my mom would have agreed, had she known the plot.
