In the late 1990's, our 4yr old son was enthralled by the Froot Loops advert, so sat down to his first bowl with GREAT anticipation. His eager expression changed to disappointment when he tasted it. He plaintively commented "Mommy, it doesn't taste as nice as in the advert!" Till today, our family laughs about it

I'd never heard of froot loops before BBT. I don't understand why they gave the bird a British accent as toucans aren't from there and when I lived there froot loops were unheard of.
