Nobody in Australia calls them "rabbit bandicoots". They are just Bilbies. Feral cats and foxes prey on them.

Susi-cutiepie left it to the end of her Explanation to tell us that bilbies have a pouch like kangaroos. I thought from the picture that the animal looked a little bit like kangaroos. All very interesting!
