Who invented logarithm?

Remember naperian logs from my uni days in the UK. Studied engineering. All in my year would have got that one

I went to Napier University so an easy question for me.

related to discovered Vs invented, I don't want to take anything from Napier, but maybe he discovered them: they already existed as mathematical thing. Like integral calculus, or imaginary numbers. What is discovered or what is invented? I don't know.

I suspect this person is suffering from some sort of constipation of the brain.

I majored in Mathematics at the University of Southern California, yet I missed this one. Never heard of the fella.
