RegretfulHuman68, I think it is good to remind everybody that it is necessary to keep an eye on your personal information AND the safeguards you use to protect it! There are some pin numbers people use that are easy to figure out by people who want to steal your identity like your birthday, address, phone number. Same goes for your passwords. Don't make it easy for thieves. Just like you lock your doors, lock up your electronic information, too!

My that is not my pin. If you can find an ATM that issues change, and you want to steal the 69 cents that in my account, you are welcome to it.

2580 is another popular pincode because it's straight down the middle, in case you think you're a genius for that one. (I did, when the bank first handed me a keypad at the age of 14 and told me to pick something... no one ever stole that $50 though. lol)

Bob8y_91();, if that is your pin number you just put it out there for people to see. You don't know for sure that people who play this game are all honest. I'm a senior citizen so I've already forgotten it. Not everyone will.

My bank set mine and whenever I went in to change it the machine was down. I just kept the bank generated one. It's not the last four of my SSN or birthdate or anything.

QED The problem with using a system where you use the card number is that you do not memorise the number. Found out the hard way when I got a new card and destroyed the old card, but the new card had a different number...

Heartland Old Guy, I grew up in Sweden and everything is accessible online and open for the public. For example my social security number, address, phone number and what vehicles I own etc. I never lock my door and I have been living like this for over 30 years. Most of the time I leave the keys in the car as well :D
