Rodents teeth never stop growing. That's why they need things to gnaw on constantly, kind of like how cats need a scratching post of sorts

Tianah Olson, exactly! mice, rats, rabbits, squirrels, moles, etc. are all members of the rodent family and they chew on things, ( wood, rope, line deposits, etc ), to wear their teeth down so they don't starve to death from their teeth getting in the way! Coincidentally, Kangaroos are also members of the rodent family!

Player #22506154, beavers are all over the United States in the south. They are everywhere if you work for the municipality or county whatever ,they have pure fits trying to get rid of them because they’re causing roads to washout flooding I live in Mobile I retired from the city, the city and county had to put out contracts to have the beavers removed in the areas where they’re causing problems with the roads

Mack, You're absolutely right. Only they curve under and can end up penetrating the palate. I had a Hamster once who was born with only one upper tooth. Since it had nothing below to meet it, it kept overgrowing and I had to take him to the vet every 2-3 weeks to have it clipped back.
