mango, actually the Isle of Man does belong to the UK, has its own government called the Tinwald consisting of only 12 individuals and is still under Royal rule and yes it is situated in the Irish Sea. I lived and worked there for two years. Living there as an outsider can only be achieved by invitation from the Tinwald government if one isn’t an Islander born and raised. The famous TT Race - motorcycles, takes place there every July.

Our old cat, Bubby, became Stubby, the day he took on the screen door with the fast closing piston. It seemed like a natural transition for a name and Stubby didn’t seem to notice. We laughed about that cat for years after he passed away. The car on the highway wasn’t as forgiving as the screen door.
