What is a Hoarding disorder?

Your description of the disorder describes my mother-in-law to a "T". It's so sad to see her endangering herself with her clutter. Her life is so sad all because she cannot part with her papers and junk! :(

Danielle, Awww!! oh my so sad!! I pray she gets better!! but I think sometimes we can all be hoarders! but no one's perfect!! but we try to do better each and everyday!

My parents were hoarders to a certain extent. I have PTSD from it, kind of. I aim to be a minimalist. I declutter every so often. Minimalism is a good lifestyle.

Sadly, this disorder can include hoarding "pets", cats in particular, but dogs and small creatures such as rabbits as well. I use quotation marks "." around the word pets, because pets are loved and cared for, not hoarded.

I think everyone has some part of a hoarder disorder. But we manage to keep it to a minimum. I hoarded s many cans of soup and masks when cov 19 broke out.. glad that is all over

My question is those who throw away everything even valuable things like books with the idea they are cleaning. I know someone who is this exact problem. what are they called. ! ! !

My cousin was like this. But he ended up dieing last year. He had a stroke and wasn’t the same ever since.

Hands 👐 up Confession yes that's me, and yes have sought help . Spent £1,000 and was totally ripped off. They just relocated 'Boxes ' and 'Stuff' Really do want to declutter. Big fear/ worry as to poor S-ds who will despise and be disgusted when they find me deaded.

I think my grandmother has it . She always keeps her space in the cupboard full of clutter.
