Which finger is God using to give Adam life in Michelangelo's painting on the Sistine Chapel ceiling?

I have always called it the index finger. Just knew it wasn't the others.

Michelangelo was very cheap and wouldn't spend a penny. He would eat like a poor man and sleep as if he were homeless. Died rich with a large fortune despite living to his late 90s. He was also plagued by the fact he was a gay man living in a very religiously strict era.

I like that painting I remember when I first saw it! this year at church because the pastor showed it and he was talking about connection so he showed us that pic and I liked it! and I liked what it stood for!! and it was a nice service!!
