Corn cookies originated in which country?

I was born and raised 60 years in the US, and I've never heard of a corn cookie!

The ingredients listed sound really nice, but what are all those specks of artificial colour in the photo? The blue especially looks horrendous.

ATS, I'm guessing the flecks are colored sugar sprinkles.

I prefer my sugar cookies! but hey don't knock it till u try it! and I would kinda like to try some corn cookies! like cookies!

Our Amish neighbor made corn cookies. I thought they were disgusting. It was a textural thing.
