In which year was the American corn chip "Bugles" introduced?

I love the sweet and salty caramel, so of course it’s next to impossible to find.

I've only had the original flavor. I enjoy its crisp, light texture. I have never seen any other versions.

I didn't know that about being fried in coconut oil, which is great! I just knew it as one of the few snacks age 12 I could have with wheat allergies. I'd stack them on my fingers like hats or long nails.
