I have read everything, and I mean everything, that Ray Bradbury ever wrote. I joined his fan club and contacted his publisher to make certain of this. I had to go to rare book dealers in NYC and pay a small fortune for his obscure long out of print books and short stories. He is generally considered one of America's greatest writers across all areas of fiction and our greatest sci-fi writer. For many years his wondrous short stories graced the pages of the weekly Saturday Evening Post. In the 1980s he was the host of Ray Bradbury Theater. Many of his works became incredibly riveting movies. The Martian Chronicles became an award winning miniseries.

Mel, the main idea is alive in the world where governments decide what is right and wrong.

Mel, tying text in capitals is the same as yelling.

Jubaal
mum, it’s untrue. Paper will burn at much lower temperatures. Don’t take my word for it… Research!!! and FACT CHECK.

SkyEagle
Deborah, Ever lit a candle? Ever held a sheet of paper to a candle? Would it burn, yes of course! I can assure you that a candle does not burn its wick at 451° F. Paper can burn from 302°F / 150°C or lower. Fact check before you spread the nonsense written in a fiction novel!

Carla
I believe Brave New World is by Aldous Huxley

Cat Mom
I've never read any of his books but liked to watch the Ray Bradbury Theater

mum
Deborah , thanks for that info. I didn't know that.
