In 2001 I went on a cruise around Italy, went up Etna just 3months after it erupted, then I’m way to Pompeii the captain announced that every night at 10pm during the summer, mount Stromboli erupts but doesn’t cause any damage, the lava goes back into the volcano. Such an amazing experience

Ken
Iceland isn't part of mainland Europe, though it does have some crazy geothermal activity, and I think like 30 volcanoes awesome

Elisabeth
DawnyG, I did that tour also.

Unreal Neil.
Axacha, Exactly!!

Axacha

There is an active vulcano on Iceland too.
