Venison I just got this meat 3 days ago! I wondered what it was myself and my husband told me it was deer so that’s how I got this answer haha!

The only people allowed to eat deer in England during the Middle Ages were the King and his Lords and Ladies if a commoner was found killing one they could lose limbs or their lives, sheriffs and foresters were employed to stop the Royal Deer being poached by the serfs, I’ve tried Venison once and to be totally honest couldn’t see what the fuss was! Wild boar on the other hand was excellent

Hunting deer is so mean. . . There are a lot of deer in Palm Harbor, Florida, and I could not imagine hurting one of those. . . There are some laws against hunting deer here though

Made cow disease is rare among deer. I have relatives who have hunted deer and elk for decades and had no health issues with it. I just don't like the taste.

IVE HAD VENISON AND ITS PRETTY GOOD, BUT GAMEY. THE MEAT IS SOFT TO CHEW. BUT I DONT THINK ILL HAVE IT AGAIN.
