MasterChimera83, well, there are telescopes, satellites, photographs.... the first image of space was taken in the 1940s, and you do understand there's an international space station now, right??? My father helped develop technology to clean the mirrors that reflect the images back to earth from the satellites that left our galaxy.

Titan, Saturn's largest moon, is the only possible place in the solar system where humans have a chance to survive outside the earth. The challenges, logistics, the sobering distance, it's a one-way trip. First robotic technology must build the infrastructure needed for our survival. And it is formidable, expensive, risky. We cannot leave the mega-shelter without breathing equipment. But the moon has unlimited resources to build. So it's better than nothing. And....who gets to go?
