What does the "CN" stand for with respect to Toronto Canada's CN Tower?

I lived in Toronto at that time and watched as it was built. Across the Street called King St. Helicopters used to bring buckets of cement as well, and to assist in the final top of Tower. Great land Mark. !!!

There's a walk you can do (with equipment) around the top of the Tower. I have some friends who did it. The idea, to me, is terrifying.
