Yeah, probably lucky anybody us survived with all the "dangers" we faced every day. What we did have, which is lacking today, is common sense.

Kris, i KNOW!! We played with them too…and did a thousand other things that are now considered too dangerous. All us oldies are evidently lucky to be alive i guess!!

My brother swallowed a jack. My mother turned him upside down and whacked him in between the shoulder blades until it came out back in the 60’s when they were made out of metal.

Steve is correct there was no mention of lawn darts. Those were terrible now we use bean bags for the lawn games. I think some bars still have darts but I think they are made differently. Maybe plastic but I personally like the small bean bags ..,
