Where might you develop a bunion?

I have one on my right foot and it's sheer agony!!

flr, My grandmother, mother, and three aunts had them, so I have spent my life in sensible wide flat shoes. Not elegant or fashionable, but I've been spared their pain.

It is actually caused by the long bone from the ankle going out at an angle. Instead of straight. My bunion is not too bad. But it is hereditary. My mother's was awful, both my sisters have had operations. I really hate looking at my feet, and shoes are hard to fit.

I did hint. But it was correct

My father was a foot doctor or podiatrist. So I knew about bunions.

What helps is wide shoes .. shoe may be bigger on the foot with them but just use an insert.
