monyray1967, I never heard of cats being an invasive species. With all due respect, cats can be linked with the ancient Egyptians. Treasured so much by their owners (Pharaohs) that they were buried in tombs with their owners. I can't comment much more about their evolution, but I do know that the majestic big cats of the safaris, jungles, and mountains helped to create the pets we own today. I'm going to look into this. Thanks!

MY DAUGHTER AND I SAW A CAT HUNT A SNAKE. IT WAS IN OUR BACK PATIO, AND WAS A BABY RATTLER. WE WONDERED WHY IT WAS STALKING. OBVIOUSLY WE CALLED ANIMAL CONTROL.

People do more harm to wildlife than cats, they cut down trees, pollute rivers and poison wildflowers. Cats are just following their instincts. Cats and many other creatures were brought to countries where they did not naturally exist, by humans. The cats are not to blame for the massive errors people have made and should not be punished for it.
