A cubit is 18 inches, roughly the length from elbow to fingertip. A span is 9 inches, roughly the length from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the pinky when the hand is fully spread. So Goliath was 9 ft. 9 in. tall.

Wonder, i read somewhere he was six feet four which in that era was classed as giant.

So where's the conversion of what that means?
